Provide important life skills
Our TINO Match-Up programs connect people who otherwise wouldn't meet. Because they are outside each others social bubble, generation or region. Our programs vary but all the match-ups have 1 thing in common: they are valuable to both participants and stimulate the realization that you can learn from people you didn't think you can learn from.
We believe networking and learning from people (collecting knowledge) are important skills. Because when you know how to enrich your network, you can find better information, solve your challenges faster and make more effective decisions. In our Match-Up programs participants practice these life skills and experience how they can apply these for challenges in their daily lives.
Our Match-Up programs are effective ways to reduce loneliness amongst marginalized groups. Because people of these profiles (including elderly and people with disabilities) are invited based on what they can contribute to others, rather than being helped by others. This approach increases their self-value, besides adding to the number of meaningful interactions and social contacts.
Some of our Match-Up programs
Our Match-up programs are customized to the wishes and resources of the client(s), which can be for example a municipality, healthcare organization(s) and school(s). Together with them we define program-factors including the target groups, the length and intensity of the program. We then create meaningful matches between individuals of these target groups and support the participants throughout the process. We have already made hundreds of meaningful matches, including match-ups between youngsters, students, caretakers, retirees and elderly. Examples of our Match-Up programs are our Old-School Program, Knowledge Detective and Knowledge Book. Our programs can take place offline and online (corona-proof).
