Unlock Unrecognized Knowledge

If there is one similarity between a multinational company and a single individual, it’s that both depend on human knowledge.

With TINO we unlock Unrecognized Knowledge

We state that every person has 3 types of knowledge:

Recognized Knowledge

We know he has the perspective!

The knowledge owner and the environment have recognized the valuable perspective of the knowledge owner.

Click Me!

I know I have the perspective!

Semi-recognized Knowledge

We don't know he has the perspective!

Though the knowledge owner is aware of his valuable perspective, his environment has not recognized it (yet).

Unrecognized Knowledge

We don't know he has the perspective!

Both the knowledge owner as well as his environment

the valuable perspective he has.

What we do

We find this knowledge!

Even though the knowledge owner is not aware of his valuable perspective, with TINO this perspective is identified.

Click Me!

I don’t know I have the perspective!

Whereas people are aware of having valuable knowledge in the first two knowledge domains, they and their environment are not aware of their Unrecognized Knowledge: which is the relevant knowledge with the lowest level of conflict of interest.

Because they are not aware of having this knowledge, it  will normally not be pushed (shared) and remains unused. With our TINO framework and methodologies we find the unusual suspects and unlock this unrecognized knowledge.

What clients & participants say about TINO

“Be ahead of the curve and stay relevant to the customers! Easy to say, hard to do, at least for executives like me and many of my colleagues, whose jobs require spending a huge amount of time at the office, dealing with the internal demands of the business. This is where TINO enters. TINO fills a gap in which traditional research and consulting companies fail: they bring in an unbiased and fresh consumer perspective, competently decoded to provide just the right insights on where the “value target” is, and how to capture it. TINO builds on state-of-the-art governmental intelligence to help companies to seize market opportunities before they even become visible to traditional market research radars. Since I could not expect to be innovative by doing what everybody was already doing, getting to know TINO was a real game changer for me.”

“Staying aware of what the market prepares was our concern. We had a very practical TINO session, on TINO networking and research of unrecognized knowledge and TIKO interviews. It was a real eye opener for me and my colleagues, making market watch do different.”

“As a Municipality, we are in a process of strengthening the connection between the cultural policy with what is happening in other sectors in the city. Our cultural department has a lot of contact with art and cultural institutions but we are also curious to hear what art and culture can contribute to other sectors (such as business, education, healthcare) and challenges (such as unemployment, sustainability and city-marketing). In order to answer this challenge, we asked HUMINT Solutions to carry out a TINO research. After they conducted multiple interviews with people with unrecognized knowledge (TIKOs) outside the cultural sector, HUMINT Solutions provided us a visually attractive and easily readable report. Me and my colleagues were positively surprised about the recommendations that resulted from the TINO research. The suggestions connect well with our ambitions and offer solutions to the challenges we face. The uniqueness about TINO is that the recommendations stem from the meetings with the TIKO’s, which has a positive effect on the public support.”

“The TINO workshop for Individuals was an amazing experience! The mirroring workshop [part of the ‘Optimize Decision-Making Program] I had was particularly significant for me. I realized the importance of knowing myself better, understanding my limitations and my anxieties, to better understand the needs of my client in order to offer a better quality of work and improve the relationship. It was important to understand the influence we have on the environment and on people around us, and how we can direct the outcome of a negotiation.”

De TINO Thinking workshop taught me how the reflections people show you, are not necessary accurate. Instead, they are colored by their own perspective. I studied to take myself as the starting point, and identify reality based on those mirrors, without assuming all the reflections I receive are accurate. The workshop helped me to make steps with my challenge. I asked myself what I really want and which of the convictions I believe to have, actually came from others. It’s my life that I need to claim, nevertheless what others think about me or advice me to do. At the same time they can help me to navigate more effectively, and that’s very valuable.

“As a Corporate Director on Innovation Management I had the chance to collaborate with HUMINT Solutions, to work on Human Intelligence applied to competitive analysis for better Innovation. The TINO seminar carried out with the help of Haim Dror, really helped us opening our eyes on how to approach market intelligence in a structured way and focusing on undocumented information. Both preparatory work before the workshop and the workshop itself were extremely concrete and generated clear methodological guidelines. I really believe that, if well used, the TINO methodology can make the difference in Innovation anticipation. I will definitely use it in future endehavours.”

Founder & CEO

Haim Dror is the developer of the TINO methodology and the founder and CEO of HUMINT Solutions. Haim achieved a BA in economics from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MPA from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard. After a variety of senior positions within the intelligence community and a long career as an ISA (Israel Security Agency) Colonel (retired), he realized how (parts of) his extensive knowledge of and experiences with governmental intelligence could be valuable to the business world. This understanding, combined with his passion to unlock innovation as something any person can do, led him to the development of the innovation methodology ‘TINO’.

The experiences she collected while performing in street art, underground culture, bars, studios, festivals and theaters, made her question which values artists and audiences give to art and stimulated her to find an alternative model to the current music market. She saw this aspiration reflected in a practical way in the ‘TINO Label’ concept, which focuses on artists creating art for the love of it. It was a natural match: her artistic talent and sparkling passion for the arts, combined with her analytical personality make her the perfect partner to contribute to the TINO Label activities.
