A concern about ethical matters can also manifest itself in the creation of a “Code of Ethics” to regulate actions, improving the Organizational Culture, relations between employees, other companies and the market. Usually, an external consultation is required to elaborate and implement the Code of Ethics. This Code of Ethics ends up being a “big book of rules”. One wonders:
Is This Code effective? Does it represent the desires and necessities of the employees? Is it possible to apply a single Code of Ethics in all organizational sectors?
Humint Solutions offers a new approach to the creation of a Code of Ethics in an organization, thinking of ethical guidelines not as a set of rules and instructions from above, but rather as fundamental believes and practices that come from the employees themselves, from the bottom up.
We aim to establish a process where:
1. A Code of Ethics will be tailor made based on the nature of each business section work.
2. A general Code of Ethics can be created later on
3. The Codes will not be static and will be reevaluated and reformulated according to organizational and cultural changes on a regular basis.
4. Based on unique group activities ,the process we offer will create a space for discussion, for people to talk about ethical dilemmas, further deepening the look into the ethical aspects in the particular field of work of the department in question.
5. The process will be independent of an outsourced consultant. Once the base is established, you will not need us, or anyone else for that matter, to carry on with the activity.
